Christy has over 20 years of consulting experience in both
Australia and the United States. She has particularly deep
expertise in telecommunications and retail industries, having
worked extensively with major corporations in these industries as
well as acting as an advisor on a range of transactions.
Prior to joining Port Jackson Partners, Christy was with
McKinsey & Company for fourteen years from 1990 to 2005, where
she was a Partner and co-leader of the Asia-Pacific
Telecommunications Practice. Beyond her career with McKinsey &
Company, Christy has also worked as an independent strategic
advisor, and as a Senior Executive in large corporations.
Christy played a key senior executive role in the
establishment of the NBN. She was responsible for the development
of the initial product design, pricing structure and regulatory
strategy. She has also helped lead the initial negotiations with
Telstra and the ACCC.
Christy is married with two children, aged 10 years and 18
months. She is a passionate traveller, having visited over 80
countries. She enjoys hiking and loves the beach.
Christy has a Master of Business Administration with Distinction
(Deans List) from Kellogg Graduate School of Management,
Northwestern University (1992-1994) and a Bachelor of Economics,
University of Sydney (1987-1989).
