PJP is a great place to work: Great people; Interesting problems; Valuable development opportunities. I have been working here for just over a year and the work is still fresh and interesting; No two weeks are ever the same.

In the past, I have spent a lot of time asking my friends "why does that happen?", or "what do you think about this for a business?" I am happy to have found a job that pays me to ask those questions on a daily basis.

Opportunities to deliver material impact for top-tier clients

There is something quite special about being in a meeting with the strategy team of a major oil and gas company and hearing the head of strategy say "wow...that's interesting".

I really like being part of a team that adds value to top-tier companies through the analysis that we do. In particular, I like the way that our analytical abilities combine with our clients' own expertise, and together we work to generate insights about their company or the industry that they are in. To have made a tangible contribution to that process is exciting and motivates me to continue giving my all to my work.

A priceless development experience that is tailored to you

On the Friday morning of my very first week I was sitting at a table with two PJP partners, an associate, and the CEO and CFO of one of Australia's iconic apparel companies. Everyone at the table was poring over a chart that I had put together that week. I took a deep breath… but everything was fine.

Working in small teams in PJP, your contribution is valued and important. This is extremely beneficial for your personal development. You quickly learn what your strengths and weaknesses are and, with the support of your team, have the opportunity to show off your skills, and work on your weaknesses to improve as an analyst.

Close-knit, familial culture

I enjoy coming to work each day because we have a great group of people working here and are a pleasure to be around. We also enjoy regular social events outside of work.

Outside interests

I spend my time outside of work either playing sport or with friends. I am going skiing in February in Japan. I recently have been watching "Breaking Bad"…It is an excellent show. My new year's resolution is to get a six pack… I have had minimal success to date.
