Andrew Macken
Andrew Macken joined Port Jackson Partners in 2005 as a
Business Analyst. He was the recipient of a UNSW Co-Op Scholarship and
holds a First Class Honours degree in Telecommunications Engineering.
In 2007, Andrew completed a Masters degree in Commerce (Finance) from
UNSW where he graduated with high distinction. Andrew is currently an
Associate at PJP.
Since joining Port Jackson Partners, Andrew has worked
with clients in manufacturing, mining and private equity.

attractiveness of each
commodity both in terms of the industry structure and our client’s
current position within each industry.

evaluating opportunities to move into leadership positions within each
commodity.

our client to take the industry leadership in reforming the industry’s
architecture to enable it to pursue its growth agenda.
- Valuation study for global iron ore producer.
- Developed a framework
to evaluate the “option value” in potential investments.

applied to multi-billion dollar Greenfield mine in West Africa.
- Evaluation of a multinational
building materials client as a potential private equity takeover
target.
- Demonstrated to our client the actions a private
equity
player might take in order to increase the returns of the business.
