Shane joined Port Jackson Partners in 1993. Shane is the first 'homegrown' leader of the practice, having progressed from a Business Analyst to Principal. Over the past decade Shane has worked on a diverse range of strategic issues in the building and construction materials, financial services, insurance, mining, health and manufacturing industries. More recently, Shane has been involved in evaluating the attractiveness of acquiring a number of private and public businesses for a diverse range of clients.

Prior to joining Port Jackson Partners, Shane worked as an electrical engineer at Energy Australia working both in the Sydney basin and in Western NSW on secondment.

Shane holds a First Class Honours degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of New South Wales. Whilst at Port Jackson Partners, Shane undertook and completed a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment from the Securities Institute of Australia and a Masters of Business Administration (Executive) at the Australian Graduate School of Management. Shane was the Business School Medallist.
